What actually goes wrong

Almost nothing that spoils an event is a food problem

It is a timing problem, and timing is a staffing question.

Festival weekends triple demand overnight

Our plan, and why
  • We plan the surge calendar with our hotel clients in advance, and our last-minute staffing line covers the night the forecast was still wrong.
  • St. Patrick's, the film festival, the food and wine weekends: Savannah's peaks are taller than most cities' and every property hits them at once.
  • A bench that is adequate in February is short in March.

Tourism traffic does not respect the banquet schedule

Our plan, and why
  • We staff to the building's night, not the room's, and our captains hand crews between outlets as the night moves.
  • A full house upstairs means the restaurant, the rooftop and the banquet floor all pull from the same labor at the same hours.
  • The property that staffs each outlet in isolation runs short in all three.

The historic venue has no back-of-house slack

Our plan, and why
  • We walk the space before we size the team, and we plan runners as their own role instead of an afterthought.
  • Savannah's best rooms are old rooms.
  • Tight galleys, single staircases, no service elevator.
  • A crew sized for a modern ballroom will be late on every course in a converted warehouse.

Weekend weddings and weekday groups compete for the same crew

Our plan, and why

Hospitality staff in Savannah, GA, built for a tourism town’s peaks

How it works in Savannah
  • Savannah properties searching for hospitality staff are usually staring at a calendar spike: a festival weekend, a full house, a ballroom and a rooftop competing for the same hands.
  • Hospitality staffing here has to flex with the city’s rhythm.
  • Our Savannah bench covers banquet servers, bartenders, runners, bussers, setup and turn crews, with captains who have worked the historic district’s tight rooms.

  • A TWF captain running the floor
  • Rosters confirmed before noon
  • A written quote before anything is booked

  • Tell us the date, headcount, and venue
Straight answers

What people actually ask before they book

What hosts, planners and property managers in Savannah ask most.

How many staff do I need for 200 guests in Savannah, GA?

For a buffet reception at 200 guests we would staff 1 captain, 8 servers and 2 bartenders.

Eleven people, or nine if you are not serving a bar.

  • A buffet does not need fewer staff because guests serve themselves: the food line is the easy part.
  • Bussing and clearing decide whether a room feels tended, at about one server per 25 guests.
  • At 200, run two buffet lines, or your last guest eats forty minutes after your first.
  • Plated service needs roughly a third more servers than buffet. Tell us the service style and we will size it exactly.
  • These ratios are our recommendations for buffet service: a starting point, not a rule.

What does event staffing cost per hour in Savannah, GA?

Rates in Savannah, GA are negotiated for the Savannah market, and your exact quote is in writing before anything is booked.

Floor supervisors and senior leadership are quoted per engagement, because they are running your floor rather than working a station.

  • What sets the rate: local cost of living, local economic conditions, what is competitive here, your volume and the length of the agreement.
  • What also moves it: the shape of the team and how much lead time we have. Rates vary by role, event size, lead time, volume and contract length.
  • It covers servers, bartenders, barbacks, runners, bussers and setup crews.
  • Trained, W-2 and supervised by a captain, which is why our people show up and stay.
What would a 200-guest reception in Savannah, GA actually cost?

Crew count, times hours, times the rate on your agreement, with the captain at your market’s captain rate on top.

You get an exact number in writing before anything is booked, and we do not ask anyone to commit to a range.

  • Your number depends on the day of the week, the season, the service style and your lead time.
  • A Tuesday corporate lunch and a Saturday gala are different jobs, and they price differently.
What is included in the hourly rate?

Everything below, with an on-site captain on every team, the part most staffing companies leave out.

Our captain runs our staff and reports to your lead: one point of contact, start to finish.

  • Recruiting and training
  • Professional TWF uniforms
  • A pre-shift briefing
  • Backfill from our bench when someone drops
  • A written shift report your manager signs off on
  • Your planner or banquet manager runs the event, not nine individual strangers
Are there hidden fees, travel charges or admin fees?

No hidden fees, and that word matters. Everything is priced on the quote before you commit.

  • Inside our Southeast markets, Greenville NC, Raleigh, Charlotte, Charleston, Columbia, Atlanta and Savannah, there is no travel charge inside 30 miles of the market center. Your crew is local.
  • Beyond 30 miles, mileage is quoted on your Order Form before you confirm.
  • Outside those markets, if we deploy a captain to run your floor, that mobilization is a named line on your quote from the start, priced for the distance.
  • No administrative fee, no fuel surcharge and no gratuity added unless you ask.
  • A staff service charge, shown on your invoice as its own line, appears only if you ask us to settle a gratuity in advance.
  • If the scope changes, the price change is agreed in writing first.
How quickly can you staff an event in Savannah, GA?

Every inquiry is answered by a person, and requests that arrive overnight are answered by 8 am.

  • Given after the event, on the final invoice or in an envelope for the team
  • Every dollar goes to the servers, bartenders and crew who worked your event, through payroll
  • No tip jar unless you approve one for a cash bar run under the venue’s or event organizer’s own alcohol permit
  • Our staff never ask your guests for tips
